Labour Party

with Jo Mc

In addition to my work on the Assembly, I regularly go out to speak to voters on the doorstep and listen to their concerns.

Please get in touch if you would like me to come along and campaign in your area or speak about my work as an Assembly Member at a meeting.

National Policy Forum – Member Involvement in the Manifesto Process

As a member of Labour’s National Policy Forum (NPF), elected by Constituencies in London and a member of the Party’s Joint Policy Committee, I have ensured that the voice of members in London has been taken in to account as part of the policy making process.

As a member of the Education and Childcare Policy Commission, I played a strong role in ensuring that Labour has a clear commitment to increasing free childcare provision and campaigned to highlight the role universal free school meals can play in tackling hunger in schools and in raising attainment.

To take part in ongoing consultations by the National Policy Forum please go to http://www.policyforum.labour.org.uk/.

In 2017 there will be a series of consultations open to members and the public. National Policy Forum members in London will be facilitating meetings for members and information will be sent direct to members and supporting members as well as via affiliated organisations.

If you would like further information on the Labour Party policy making process please get in touch.
